In this past few days, a lot has been said (or not said yet) about the KAPA fiasco not to mention the confusions it brought to many people. There were even some individuals who have been asking us if the Assemblies of God is involved or has endorsed KAPA in anyway.

Be it known that the National Leadership of the PHILIPPINES GENERAL COUNCIL OF THE ASSEMBLIES OF GOD INC. (PGCAG, Inc.)  and A.O.G. PHILS. INC, under the leadership of Rev. Dr. DAVID A. SOBREPENA is in full support to the Governments move to curtail, stop or regulate ‘get-rich-quick’, pyramidical or Ponzi schemes and the likes of it.

Further, we want to inform everyone that PGCAG, Inc. and A.O.G. Phils. Inc. IS AND HAVE NOT IN ANY WAY TAKEN PART or even endorsed KAPA corporately or as an organization.  In either formal or informal settings, the leadership have been warning everyone from investing in schemes like this — as this is not the first time that many have been caught unaware.

Should there be any individual member and/or Pastors credentialed under the Assemblies of God in the Philippines who have taken any part either investing or donating money or even endorsing or inviting people to invest in KAPA – they are HELD INDIVIDUALLY RESPONSIBLE/LIABLE and WILL FACE WHATEVER LEGAL AND MORAL CONSEQUENCES that may come thereafter as a PERSON and NOT the church or the organization of the Assemblies of God.

The action/s taken by our President Duterte and the concerned National Government entities,  should be a warning to all about such unscrupulous, dubious and fraudulent schemes especially using the guise of religion and/or Christian organization.
