A message for Pastor's Appreciation Day

On that day, When Christ ascended up to heaven, He did not leave us as sheep without a shepherd to go wander aimlessly. In John 14:18 Jesus promised that He will come to us as we go forth and fulfill The Great Commission. Through the Holy Spirit, Christ established a structure by which His people can build up the Church.

Needless to say, The Church plays an integral role especially in this unprecedented situation we have been living in for almost 2 years now. Now more than ever, the world needs the grace and message found in God’s word and that is our duty as God’s people. Thus, for us to be able to fulfill the great commission, Jesus has placed pastors in the Church for us to be equipped, encouraged and continually keep the Word of God in our being.

These are some of the important roles of our pastors and mind you, organizing and maintaining a church is not a simple task. Challenging as it may be, we are definitely blessed to have brave men and women who are on the frontline and answered God’s call to lead His Church.

This month of October we remember and give a bigger highlight to our Pastors as they continue to forge ahead, pivot and make sure that the great commission is still being fulfilled. For the encouragement and initiatives, they have made certain that we are well equipped in our ministry. And for keeping a watchful eye on making sure that our faith spiritual life is constantly healthy.

Let us continue to lift our pastors up and prayer and find ways on how we can be a blessing to them. Our pastors are human too and there may be times where the battles are never easy. But nothing is impossible and too difficult when we as God’s people come together and start encouraging one another. That way we too become a channel of God’s blessing to our pastors holding the front lines.
