August may have been just a few days behind us and yet that passionate flame is still evident in the youth of the PGCAG after a supercharged month. Youth Alive Month was celebrated last August with a very fitting title to match – “Powered Up!”. It was a whole month event that spilled out to all districts of the PGCAG. It aimed to showcase how the youth can make an impact for the Lord in our nation. It started strong and ended with “Youth Sunday”, a culminating celebration across districts on August 26.
Sweeping all across the country, YA groups from different districts expressed the meaning of what it is to be Empowered in different ways!
LUZON
In the north of Luzon, the NELDC Northern Isabela Section-Zone 4 which was made up of YA members from Quirino and Ilagan City showed the kind of stewardship each one of us should have for the world God has made by participating in a tree planting activity which was organized by Brgy. Sto Domingo, Quirino, Isabela.
And on Youth Sunday, the Youth Alive of Roxas Isabela held a Powered Up Concert at the Roxas Astrodome.
Looking further north in Dinalupihan, Bataan, the Youth of the PGCAG CLDC welcomed the Spirit of God to further empower them for the great commission in a special celebration for Youth Sunday.
VISAYAS
Talisay, Cebu and San Carlos, Negros Oriental were just some of the places where the youth gathered, prayed and roared in one voice that they are ready to take their place in the mission field. The Youth Sunday services done in those places were designed to equip and empower the youth as they go forth and share the Salvation of Jesus Christ to the lost.

MINDANAO
The declaration of the youth in Mindanao was also loud and powerful! Davao City and Libertad, Butuan were just some of the places down south where Youth Alive Sunday celebrations were held to further Power Up the youth serving the Lord!

The youth from Butuan showed what Powered Up youth can do for their community by helping with a cleanup in the streets!
