The work to continually build the Kingdom of God cannot be delayed. This saying was definitely lived out last January 14, 2021 when leaders of the Philippine General Council of the Assemblies of God has pushed through with this years’ Annual Leadership Summit. Given of the travel restrictions because of the circumstances brought about by COVID-19, the PGCAG leadership made the decision to pivot to a digital platform for this summit making it the first digital ALS in our history.
Representatives from each district but 2 were able to join the Zoom online conference on that day. Leaders of both the council, the districts and organizations that were present laid out plans for 2021 and were able to give an update and reports from what happened in 2020. Truly this stands as a testament that no matter what the situation is, God’s work for His people will always continue.
