Dear Brethren:

Praise God from whom all blessings flow!

Upon our arrival from the Philippines, we were met by a tough situation when Nancy’s bag was snatch along the way. In it were their passports and her wallet. But thanks be to God Almighty who helped us through it all. We thank God for His favor and provision as well as the testimony we had from this situation. Now they got their new passports and visas done already.

On September, we were privilege to host the Medical and Dental Team from Philippines and other countries. We conducted Medical Mission in Kamphong Cham province as well as in the orphanage. We were able to treat around 50 people in Kampong Cham and few more in the orphanage including the children in the home. Some of the former children in the homes served as our interpreters throughout this event along with our staffs and volunteers. It was a great blessing seeing everyone working together for a common good.

Two of the bigger boys in the homes had failed their school exam and we’ve decided to send them to a vocational school. Johnny wants to be an Electrician while Ean is studying Computer repair. We are praying that they can indeed learn the skill well so they can find a job to support themselves in the long run. They are growing and the homes can’t keep them forever.

Lydia and Rebecca, the youngest in the homes, started attending Pre-school already at Grace Mission. It’s a Christian International school owned by Korean Missionaries. They are learning both English and Khmer lessons. Pray for them to grow up with wisdom, knowledge and understanding. The rest of the children are still studying in Kurmul Christian International School.

Last week we visited Kampong Cham province and we were able to gather 50 children in a short notice. We taught them about God and gave them school supplies. We also shared the Bible to the host families.  Our sponsored kids there are growing and praying we could be able to visit them regularly. Pray for Sambo to graduate and pass the national Grade 12 examination next year so he can move on to the university.

Our building project in Kampong Cham still needs to be cemented and lighted before it can be put to use. One post is already eaten by termites. We are praying for more funds to finish this project out there. It will be a better place for the children to learn instead of just sitting on the ground with the tarp. It will also provide shelter during rainy season like this time.

After the Medical/Dental Mission I got chest pain but praise God all the laboratory tests came out negative. Last month, I went to Thailand for check-up with the same hospital that did my angiogram. The laboratory showed that the tendency for me to have blood clot again is too high so they put me back in medication. As of now I am doing great but keep praying for my health.

Please pray for the Children’s homes as I will be going to Philippines for a while. We long to have our furlough but since there’s nobody who can stay in the homes, we can’t all go as a family but my family will be joining me in the Philippines during Christmas vacation.

Adriel started teaching English to some neighboring kids for free. English is a tool we use to reach out to the children in the neighborhood. Part of the class is the sharing of the gospel. Pray that the children will understand the Gospel and accept Jesus as their ONLY Lord and Savior and not just another gods.
